A 4x4 water tank is a vehicle-mounted water storage system designed for off-road and camping use. It allows you to carry and dispense water conveniently for activities such as washing, cooking, or showering while travelling. Our 4x4 water tanks are durable, weather-resistant, and can be pressurised with an air compressor or connected to a 12V water pump for a steady water supply.
Our 4x4 water tanks use a pneumatic system. You can connect an air compressor to pressurise the tank, which allows water to flow out directly without the need for gravity. They can also be connected to a 12V water pump if preferred. Both options provide a steady water supply for washing, cooking, or showering during outdoor trips.
1. Empty the tank completely.
2. Rinse the inside with clean water to remove dirt or residue.
3. Use a mild cleaning solution suitable for general-purpose water storage (avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the tank).
4. Rinse thoroughly to ensure no cleaner remains inside.
5. Let the tank dry completely before sealing or storing to prevent mold or odor.
Regular cleaning will keep the water tank in good condition and extend its lifespan.
Yes. Our 4WD water tanks are designed with standard outlet fittings, allowing you to connect them to most 12V water pumps, portable shower kits, or gravity-fed systems. For best results, ensure the fittings are compatible.
