Great awning easy set up the coverage is unbelievable lighting fantastic would recommend this product to anyone jump on board and do yourself a favour and grab one at a great price.

Very neat, easy to use and has great coverage. The lights make it so easy. Would just like a little more run off angle in those wet periods.
I love my 270 plus . I have the wall kit also . Am I missing the wall that zips on against the front of the car . There's a zipper there for one but no zip on wall in the bag . I would like to see some velcro straps on the end walls so you could secure it to the end poles? Thanks Mark .

It is not often that I review but I am so happy with these chairs that I feel that it would help others, like me, who are looking for a comfortable, compact, light sturdy well designed chair. The padded head rest is great and makes relaxing back easy. It is so easy to erect and fits into its carry bag easily. We have a small motorhome where space is at a premium and didn't want to store anything on the bed while travelling. These fit easily into our inner storage cupboard. We also love the feet as they have a larger base so you don't sink into the ground. The swivel is great and makes tucking yourself under a table so easy. I am 65kg and my husband is 88 kg. The only thing we didn't like was not being able to try it out but after watching a video decided to risk it. It has turned out to be a very happy ending.
Love it, side walls were the best addition for the cool Tassie weather, made cooking a breeze! Highly recommend the product

For the price the build quality is amazing. This is my first ever 270 awning so it's definitely set the bar pretty high for me... Love the built in lights, poles and ease of use. Only downfall for me was I had to cut some of the bolts and fixings to suit my roof-rack slots but otherwise no issue got it done!
Sorry, it’s taken a while for the review…. Been busy, the moment I received it I wacked it on and off l went Ha. TBH, for price and my first ever 270 degree awning I’m shocked. The LED lights are a bonus. Quality and installation is so simple & great… Just abit harder if you’ve got a 2.4m high car. Overall if l could give it 5 stars I would. 10/10 rating l will. Price, delivery, budget and quality is exceptional you can’t complain or go wrong with the extra room. The price… It was very good including shipping. l didn’t really look at other brands or competitors. I was more drawn to the black to match my car and RTT, led lights and how everyone who purchased it was happy. I went with the XL awning and would recommend it to anyone that is looking at an awning. Don’t get the standalone one get the 270 because Bigger is always better!

Over the past 10 months since purchasing this awning, I have been able to enjoy more outdoor activities comfortably. Even my wife, who dislikes collecting camping gear, praises it as the best choice she has no regrets about. I believe it is the best value awning that I can't help but recommend.
Been out multiple time in this awning dry, wet, windy loving it, easy quick setup lights work well and install was easy, my mate has now bought one for himself after watching me love mine.

This 270 plus awning is awesome, finally unfolded it today, should’ve got the walls, but nonetheless I love it, can’t wait to break it out on its maiden voyage, the lights should be great too, money well spent, it was in Newcastle within 2 days, love it guys
Absolutely love my open road 270 awning. Just returned home from Cape York and I’m soo glad we had it. It’s soo quick and easy to set up and pack up, survived the corrugated roads and the Old Telegraph track and didn’t even have one bolt come loose. When I was doing my research into awnings the customer service from Mark was amazing. He was very helpful in deciding what will work best for my 200 series and offered guidance regarding alternative brackets to suit the roof platform I have. To be honest, I went with Open road because of the amazing customer service from Mark and I’m very happy I did.

Amazing! Delivery was super fast. Such simple installation and didn’t need the manual. I used my existing heavy duty brackets. Quality is amazing and easy to open up and pack away. The extra storage is a great addition. Plenty of room in bag when packing up. I haven't plugged lights in yet but love this feature as well as the poles of needed in windy conditions. This one is actually more compact than my old 270 awning. Love this!
Loving my new open-road awning and walls! The awning on its own held up in 40 knot wind gusts using just the provided tie downs! I have since upgraded to the tie gear awning bungies just to be safe. The walls mean I will be able to camp just with the car in summer ... but over winter I added my Quest Air Tent and it fits like a dream! So much easier and quicker for an older, single lady to manage! I notice some blue and black zips on the car side of the awning ... am I right to be super hopeful that additional walls will be able to be purchased to make the set up completely weather proof?
This awning far exceeded our expectations. We had a really cheap product before this that broke so the difference in quality is miles apart. From the zip, to the the arms holding the awning up - the quality is just incredible. It was also very easy to install. We were in outback NT and managed to put everything together pretty simply (albeit heavy). We tested the lighting in the evening and the warm lighting does keep buys at bay.

Talked with Mark from the team, helped me out tremendously, fast replies and great customer support, came with everything to install it, no matter how you were mounting it, it’s came with HEAPS of mounting hardware, Extremely straight forward to install and set up, first set up and pack up took me about 5 minutes each, install took about 20 minutes. extremely happy with the purchase and extremely high quality materials

size of the vehicle door almost perfect to my teardrop camper door. Mounting for test fit confirms access, so I'm happy with that. My only complaint was lack of instructions. I have installed a few awnings, so I am very familiar with the process. I know videos exist online, I was prepared. But the packaging should at least include something with basic info then pointing users to online material. The awning was packaged in a nice, thick walled box. Only two straps to cut and there it was. Five stars on packaging.

Shipped very well packed. The enclosure, fittings and hardware are very good quality and show good workmanship. We installed via direct bolting through the wall of our FWC Hawk. Many uses over our most recent trip. Just a fabulous upgrade to our shower and toilet use experience.
