Our 270 freestanding awning was rigorously wind-tested in real-world Melbourne conditions. Through open-air trials, we determined its freestanding rating of 30 km/h and pegged rating of 60 km/h. Our tests compared BOM forecast data with actual onsite wind measurements to ensure reliable, real-world results.

This compact support lifts the canopy to create a positive drainage fall that channels rain to the edge and off in seconds, so there’s no pooling, no sag and less flap when it’s bucketing down. Warning
When you roll the awning back, push each hinged arm toward the housing so the fabric and zipper stay aligned — this prevents the canvas from bunching and makes the zipper easy to close.
Tip: do one arm at a time and don’t force the zipper; realign and try again.
